The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Rutherford County on Friday afternoon.
The crash happened on Interstate-840 near the Almaville Road exit around 3:30 p.m.
At least one person died in the crash.
Officials say the westbound side of I-840 will be closed until at least 7 p.m. while deputies investigate the incident. There are no delays heading eastbound.
