Tennessee Task Force 2 heading home, no longer needed for hurricane assistance

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Emergency officials deactivated Tennessee Task Force 2 while on their way down to Louisiana to aid in hurricane relief efforts.

Nashville Fire Department tweeted crews were no longer needed due to storms passing faster than anticipated.

Crews are expected to be back in Nashville around 10 p.m. Thursday.
