KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – The state of Tennessee is calling the practice test of their much-maligned TNReady testing system successful.
Education officials said the test verifies that a high number of students are able to use the online testing platform at one time.
Nearly 50,000 students in over 51 districts participated in a 40-minute verification test of the system.
TNReady made headlines across the state last spring when the online tests caused widespread problems. Students could not log on or were kicked out of their tests.
Some schools forced to administer the test with pencil and paper.
