Former Robertson Co. youth pastor indicted on charges of sexual misconduct with minor

A former Robertson County youth pastor was arrested by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Friday for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a minor.  

TBI began the investigation into 39-year-old James Clinton Jones in September 2017.  

Agents said over the course of the investigation, they developed information that Jones had inappropriate sexual contact with a young girl while serving as a youth pastor at a local church.  

Jones was indicted by the Robertson County Grand Jury last week on one count of Sexual contact with a minor- Sexual contact by an authority figure.  

He was arrested Friday afternoon and was booked into the Robertson County Jail on $10,000 bond.
