CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 3.8-magnitude earthquake was reported Monday afternoon in East Tennessee near the Kentucky line.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake was recorded around 2:12 p.m. eastern time, just east of Fincastle in Campbell County.
The earthquake, with a depth of about 35 kilometers, was initially determined to be a 3.6-magnitude, but upon further review, the USGS readjusted that to a 3.8.
There were no initial reports of damage or injuries.

This was the second earthquake recorded near Fincastle in two days. A 2.0-magnitude earthquake was reported in the same area around 5:19 a.m. Sunday.
