NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A teenager who is fighting a life-threatening illness had a life-long wish come true-to visit Music City.

Christian Jackson, who is from North Carolina, was born with cerebral palsy and hemangiomatosis.

His family said the illnesses have been an uphill battle his entire life.

But thanks to the Kids Wish Network, Christian came to Nashville to see where country stars got their big break.

Christian said the trip has been more exciting than meeting George Strait.

“I know that sounds crazy but they gave us a list of things to do,” said Christian. “There’s more to do here because I would have met George Strait and it would have been meet, eat and leave.”

Christian visited the George Jones Museum and attended a concert Thursday night.

He leaves Nashville and heads home on Saturday.
