TBI joins statewide search for teenage jail escape considered armed and dangerous


The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says it’s now involved in the search for a teenager who escaped from a Rutherford County juvenile detention center. 

Tai Harrell, 16,  broke out last week and is accused of stealing a truck that had a gun inside. 

Police consider him armed and dangerous. 

Harrell was being held at the juvenile facility in Rutherford  County for Clarksville Police

The TBI is working with the Clarksville Police Dept in the search for Tai Tyrone Harrell.

He’s 5’6” and weighs 120 lbs, has black hair, brown eyes. Call 1-800-TBI-FIND or 931-614-5656.
