Suspect arrested in Nashville Marathon gas station murder


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police said they have arrested the suspect in the North Nashville gas station murder that happened earlier this month.

Officers said Danny Haskins, 57, was arrested Sunday evening in Dyersburg.

Haskins is accused of shooting Quinton Thornton at the Marathon market on the corner of John A. Merritt Boulevard. and 28th Avenue on Oct. 6.

His alleged getaway driver was also arrested in Dyersburg just days after the shooting.
