LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) – Lebanon police have identified the three suspects wanted for stealing thousands of dollars of high-end clothes from the Ralph Lauren Polo store at an outlet mall in Wilson County.
Police said the trio, identified as an adult and two juveniles, used trash bags to clean off the counters last Tuesday night.
Surveillance video shows the three women entering the store and going into the men’s department before pulling trash bags out from underneath their shirts.
The three loaded up on clothing before dashing out the store’s front door with $16,000 worth of high-end clothing.
The crime is so shocking, police said shoppers at the front entrance can’t believe what they’re seeing.
“We just had a pretty significant grab and run,” a store employee tells a 911 dispatcher. “It was three African American ladies, they brought trash bags into our store, they wiped out whole entire tables and fixtures and ran out. We have them on camera.”
Clerks inside the store followed the women into the parking where the trio got into a white Ford Taurus with a temporary tag.
Police said the tag did not come back as belonging to the Ford.
The investigation is ongoing.
