Shots fired toward police near Club Galaxy in South Nashville

Around 5:30 a.m. Sunday someone fired shots toward Metro police near Club Galaxy in South Nashville, according to police. 

Police were responding to a stolen vehicle call at the club located at 1204 Murfreesboro Pike that came in around 5 a.m.

Once there, Captain Chris Taylor said they found a woman who had been shot 2 times in the arm. That woman was taken to a hospital but is expected to be okay.

At that time, the suspects had left the scene.

While conducting their investigation, police said the suspects drove back to the scene and fired additional shots toward the club and the officers.

An officer’s vehicle was hit, but no one was injured.

Police are looking for a red Chrysler.
