Shots fired into Antioch home with children inside


Metro police are investigating after gunshots were fired into a home in Antioch early Wednesday morning. 

It happened around 2:30 a.m. at a home on Shelia Drive. 

Metro police said at least three shots were fired into the front door. 

Bullets went through the storm and wooded front doors, through the living room and into the kitchen where one became lodged in a baby seat, according to Metro police. At least one small child was inside the home at the time. 

No one was injured.  

Officers also checked the rest of the home for more bullet holes and shell casings. 

No additional information was released.
