Shooting victim in critical condition after trying to stop South Nashville robbery


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police said a man was shot multiple times in a South Nashville parking lot on Sunday morning.

Officers said several patrons at Club Premium were returning to their cars around 6 a.m. when two men armed with a handgun approached a woman and tried to rob her.

A man intervened and was shot multiple times in the arm and head.

According to witnesses, another person saw what was happening and fired a weapon, causing the suspects to leave in a silver Ford F-150.

The victim was taken to a hospital by private vehicle.

He is in critical but stable condition.
