Security increased at White House Heritage H.S. following threat

The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office has determined that a threat made against White House Heritage High School is a hoax.

Authorities have since determined the threat was started by a student and circulated throughout the community.

According to a tweet Sunday night, it was sent via text through an anonymous app.

The sheriff’s office is providing extra security at the school Monday.

The sheriff’s office takes any and all threats to schools seriously, according to the department.

It was not immediately known if any charges will be filed.
