Three vehicles were involved in a rollover crash at a busy Woodbine intersection early Monday morning.
It happened around 5 a.m. at Southlake Drive and Thompson Lane/Briley Parkway.
Metro police said a pickup truck crashed into multiple cars and damaged a utility pole.
The driver of the truck fled from the scene and remains at large.
A driver of a sedan involved in the crash was seriously injured. He was extricated from the vehicle and taken to an area hospital where the extent of his injuries are unknown.
Briley Parkway is closed from East Thompson Lane to Interstate 24 while crews work to process the crash and repair the damaged pole.
The crash caused the traffic lights at the intersection to hang dangerously low and News 2 witnessed two semi trucks hit the lights.
It is unknown when the roadway will reopen to traffic.
