Reward offered after 24 firearms stolen from Murfreesboro gun store


MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward for information after at least 24 firearms were stolen from a Murfreesboro gun store.

The weapons were taken from On Target, which is located on North Thompson Lane, during a burglary on Friday around 4 a.m.

According to a Murfreesboro police report, a responding officer found the front glass door broken, and the suspects reportedly used a hammer and baseball to break out a glass cabinet.

Surveillance shows the suspects putting the guns into a bag and running out the front door.

The police report says all of the guns were semi-automatic pistols. The most expensive was worth $1,199.99, and altogether, they are worth $19,638.74.
