Police arrested a man they know from past panhandling arrests, after they say he evaded them on the interstate.
An arrest affidavit states officers tried to stop Paul Aniel when they saw him panhandling near I-440 and West End Avenue on October 5.
According to the affidavit, when officers tried to flag down Aniel, he ran to a vehicle and drove onto the interstate.
Officers say he passed vehicles on the shoulder and cut off vehicles on the interstate.
Officers did not attempt to follow him any further, and arrested him at a later date.
Aniel now faces charges of evading arrest with risk of death or injury to third parties.
He has been arrested dozens of times before, mostly for panhandling related crimes.
