NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Nashville Predators announced Wednesday that they entered into a new affiliation agreement with the ECHL’s Florida Everblades.
According to a release from the National Hockey League, the Everblades will serve as a developmental affiliate for the Preds and their developmental affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL.
Predators General Manager David Poile released a statement.
We are incredibly excited to have the Florida Everblades as a developmental affiliate,” Poile said. “Led by President and GM Craig Brush, the Everblades have established themselves as one of the best franchises in the ECHL and have a proven track record of developing players. They’ve been a model of consistency in their league and we look forward to seeing them take an active role in the success of the Nashville Predators and Milwaukee Admirals.
The Everblades have been one of the most successful franchises in ECHL history. They earned a 50-15-6-1 record during the 2018-19 season and a trip to the Eastern Conference Final for the sixth time in team history.
The franchise has also been to the playoffs in all but one of their 21 seasons.
