The National Weather Service will determine if a tornado caused damage early Wednesday morning in Fentress County.

The damage was reported around 12:30 a.m. in the Muddy Pond area of Fentress County near the Overton County line.

A house right next to the Overton County line was heavily damaged, emergency management officials told News 2.

The agency said a building behind the barn was lifted up off its foundation and moved about a foot.

Part of the roof was blown off of a shop across the street and a nearby barn was also damaged.

There were no reports of any injuries.

It is not clear when the National Weather Service will survey the damage to determine if a tornado touched down.
