Police: Women found with drugs in Nashville vacation rental

News

Two women were arrested at a vacation rental in Downtown Nashville after Metro Police say they found drugs and a gun in their room.

Robyn Shank, 32, and Karen Langston, 31, are charged with drug crimes.

According to their arrest affidavits, on-site security at Music City Loft smelled marijuana coming from Shank’s room. The security guard told officers drug use was a violation of the rental agreement and was going to ask the women to leave but when he tried to talk to them, he reported they ran away.

Officers were called and were given consent by Shank to search the room, according to the affidavit.

Detectives reported finding 15 needles, 4 spoons with drug residue, scales, a pipe, marijuana and a gun. Police say the gun belonged to Shank who is a convicted felon out of Florida.

Officers arrested both women.

Langston faces additional charges because police say she had an outstanding warrant and say she brought drugs into jail. According to her arrest affidavit, Langston was searched in the jail and found with meth and heroin in her underwear.
