NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police believe a man who suffered at least five gunshot wounds was likely shot during a “drug-related altercation” Tuesday afternoon in Nashville.
Officers responded to a residence on Crouch Drive where they said the shooting victim showed up and knocked on the door to ask for help.
The 29-year-old man, who had been shot five times in the back and stomach, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, police explained. His injuries were believed to be serious.
The investigation is ongoing. No additional information was immediately released.
