A death investigation is underway after a body was found in North Nashville Tuesday night.
Officers were called to a home on 16th Avenue North around 11 p.m.
A resident told police a bad odor was coming from their shed so they looked inside and saw a dead person, according to Metro police.
Metro police said there was no obvious signs of trauma or foul play and no identification was found on the body.
Investigators are working to determine if the person was homeless.
The investigation is ongoing. No additional information was immediately released.
