Police were able to negotiate with a man who was believed to have been armed inside a Clarksville motel room Monday.
According to a release, police received a call about a man who threatened to harm himself at the motel located in the 3000 block of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
A safety area was established around the room and crisis negotiators and tactical unit responded to the scene.
Police said the negotiation ended around 2:30 p.m. No one was injured and police said they didn’t find a firearm in the room.
No charges were immediately filed.
