A 22-year-old man was shot while walking down a street in Madison early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. on McKinley Street.
Metro police reported the man was walking when shots were fired from a black Chevy Suburban.
The man was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Metro police are searching the area for the vehicle, which is said to be missing a hubcap from one of its rear wheels.
It was last seen traveling inbound on Gallatin Pike.
No additional information was immediately released.
