Police investigate burglary at cell phone store

Police were called to a Metro PCS store in Antioch Thursday morning to investigate a break-in.

Dispatchers sent officers to the store on Murfreesboro Pike near Hamilton Church Road just before 1:30 a.m.

Investigators tell News 2 the front door had been smashed and a the till from the cash register was missing.

It wasn’t immediately clear if any money was taken. Officers say they do not believe any phones were stolen.

Officers were told of surveillance video captured at the store.

No further information was immediately released.
