News

Metro police are investigating after a break-in at a South Nashville business Tuesday night.

Officers were called to College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving on McNally Drive around 11 p.m.

Arriving officers found evidence someone had broken in through a front office window and used K-9 officers to clear the building.

Another officer then spotted a suspect in a van on Vulcan Drive. The man, described by Metro police as a black man who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 175 pounds, ran from the van as officers approached to investigate, according to Metro police.

The van was determined to have been stolen from the business along with multiple tablets.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.

In July 2018, two people were charged in connection with setting fires outside and within the College Hunks building.
