Police investigate armed robbery at Livingston tobacco shop

Authorities are searching for the man who robbed a tobacco shop in Livingston at gunpoint on Saturday night.

Livingston police responded around 10:15 p.m. to an armed robbery at Express Tobacco Outlet on Bradford Hicks Drive.

When officers arrived, they learned a man had entered the store as it was closing and robbed the store clerks at gunpoint.

The robber got away with some money from the cash register and fled from the store toward Celina Highway in a vehicle parked outside.

The clerks were not injured and no customers were inside at the time of the robbery, police said.
