FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – Franklin Police arrested a 44-year- old DUI suspect after he was found without pants or shoes behind a bush.

Police received a call about a reckless driver on Highway 96 West at 11:00 p.m. Monday.

An officer patrolling the area discovered the vehicle, facing the wrong direction, abandoned on the shoulder of 96 West near Glass Street.

The driver was found behind a nearby bush, “wearing no pants, no shoes, and his shirt on backwards.”

James Scott, 44, of Brentwood, was charged with DUI and Violation of the Implied Consent Law.

He is free on a $7,500 bond and due in court on July 2 at 1:00 p.m.
