NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 57-year-old drunk man punched the manager of a Nashville movie theater and spit in the face of the officer arresting him, a police report states.
Francis King was booked into the Metro jail Wednesday night on multiple charges including assault, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
According to an arrest report, when staff at a Regal Cinemas in Nashville asked King to leave Wednesday, he became “disorderly” and punched the manager of the movie theater in the face.
Officers approached King and said he smelled of alcohol, his eyes were bloodshot and he was unstable on his feet.
He was searched and a bottle of vodka was found in his waistband, police said.
King was taken into custody.
While inside of a patrol car, police said King spit on an officer.
