Wilson County deputies chased a driver they suspected was impaired for more than 20 miles Wednesday morning. And authorities say they chased the same driver just last week.
Wednesday morning’s chase started around 3 a.m. on I-40 west from Providence in Mt. Juliet to Davidson County.
The suspect was driving a Honda Civic at 55 mph.
Metro police said they tried to stop him with spike strips but he swerved to avoid them.
The pursuit ended at Old Hickory Blvd and Nolensville Pike in Nashville. No one was hurt.
The driver’s name has not been released. Police say he’ll face several charges.
