Police: 16-year-old girl shot at Nashville hot chicken restaurant

A 16-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting Sunday morning at a hot chicken restaurant on Ewing Drive, authorities said.

Metro police were called around 1:45 a.m. to TriStar Skyline Medical Center where the teenage victim had been transported by a private vehicle with a gunshot wound to her stomach.

The victim’s friend told officers that the shooting happened at Prince’s Chicken near Dickerson Pike.

Officers located a crime scene and Youth Services Detectives responded.

No other details were immediately released.
