Police: 1 critically injured on Dickerson Pike

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person was critically injured in a crash on Dickerson Pike, according to a release from Metro police.

It happened Friday around 8:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Dickerson Pike in East Nashville.

Police said this was a one-vehicle crash and one man was critically injured. A release from Metro police said the man was standing in the southbound lane of Dickerson Pike when he was hit by a silver sedan. The victim lives nearby on Dickerson Pike, and was taken to Skyline Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.

Roadway evidence indicates the hit and run vehicle is a 2006-2012 silver Chevrolet Impala. The collision happened outside of a crosswalk.
