A 44-year-old pedestrian was killed in a crash on Briley Parkway at the Interstate 24 overpass Monday evening.
It happened around 5:35 p.m.
Police said it is believed the victim, Chad McAmis, had been soliciting at the off-ramp just before the crash.
According to a release, McAmis may have been walking on Briley Parkway in a traffic lane when he was hit by a Ford Mustang.
Police said the impact threw McAmis into the second eastbound traffic lane where he was hit by two other cars. He died at the scene, according to police.
The drivers were not injured and were not impaired.
