A New York City Police Officer has been arrested and charged in connection with a Nashville break-in.

Twenty-four-year-old Michael Reynolds is facing charges of aggravated burglary and misdemeanor assault.

In July, Conese Haliburton told News 2 she was asleep in her home when an inebriated man broke in, thinking it was the Airbnb where he was staying. She says she saw the man the next day and confronted him. The confrontation was caught on a neighbor’s surveillance camera.

Metro police didn’t identify the suspect until later. In August, Reynolds had been questioned in relation to the case.

Reynolds remains in jail at this time. He is due in court Nov. 7.

Late Tuesday, NYPD said Reynolds had been suspended without pay.
