The mock drafts are coming and I did a little tour today and I continue to be amazed with where the “experts” have the Titans going in round one.

I have hard time seeing them draft anything but someone in the Front 7, but most of the picks I’ve seen are anything but that. The Titans do need help on offense, but they need a game wrecker on defense and they really need to reload at OLB with Brian Orakpo retiring and Derrick Morgan’s contract expiring.

Here’s what they’ve got though:

CBSSports.com (Will Brinson) – (CB) Byron Murphy – Washington

ESPN.com (Todd McShay) – (TE) TJ Hockenson – Iowa

CBSSports.com (Sean McGough) – (CB) Byron Murphy – Washington

NFL.com (Chad Reuter) – TJ Hockenson – Iowa

WalterFootball.com – (WR) AJ Brown – Ole Miss

NBCSports.com – (WR) Marquise Brown – Oklahoma

SportingNews.com – (WR) AJ Brown – Ole Miss

Newsday.com – (OT) Dalton Risner – Kansas State

NFLDraftGeek.com – (DE) Jachoic Polite – Florida

Draftsite.com – (WR) AJ Brown – Ole Miss

I agree the Corey Davis needs help at WR and Delanie Walker isn’t getting any younger, but they can make immediate upgrades to their team elsewhere.

Having said that, I always think teams cannot have enough good football players, so if the best player on the board at #19 is Hockenson then I would have a hard time arguing that pick.
