Newsmaker: Angie Henderson, Metro Council Dist.34, on Nashville trees

News

Metro Council will meet tonight and a big topic will be preserving trees around the city.

This comes at the same time cherry trees are set to be removed and relocated downtown to make room for the NFL Draft festivities.

Councilmember Angie Henderson is a proponent of preserving trees and she’s the lead sponsor of a bill to elevate tree requirements for developers.

She stopped by News 2 at 11 a.m. to talk about trees.
