NewsChannel 5 reporter Mark Bellinger dies after battle with cancer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Longtime NewsChannel 5 reporter Mark Bellinger has died at the age of 56 after a battle with cancer.

The Nashville news stations say he passed away peacefully Thursday surrounded by his loving family.

Mark joined the NewsChannel 5 team in 1993. He is survived by his wife Cindy and his daughter Anna.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Williamson Memorial in Franklin. Another visitation will take place on Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brentwood. Mark’s funeral will immediately follow.
