National Night Out to bring communities together

News

Events are planned in communities across Middle Tennessee for Tuesday’s National Night Out. The event is designed to improve neighbor and law enforcement relations, ultimately hoping to reduce crime and violence.

Below is a list of several communities organizing events Tuesday night:

East Nashville – East Park, 700 Woodland St.  – 4:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Neighborhood Housing – 1201 Hawkins St. – 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Buena Vista Neighborhood Association – McGruder Family Resources Center, 2013 25th Ave. North 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Central Precinct – Lower Broadway 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Gernert Resident Association – 1101 Edgehill Ave. – 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Green Hills Terrace Condominiums – Clubhouse lawn/pool area – 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Harbour Town condominiums – Clubhouse – 7:00 p.m.

Hermitage and Alan Estates – Dupont Tyler Middle School at 431 Tyler Drive. – 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Old Hickory – Old Hickory Large Ball Field, 1700 Golf Club Rd. – 5:30 p.m.

Edgehill/FRC and Sunnyside – 1277 12 Ave. South, Edgehill Apts. Community Room  5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
