Nashville woman arrested in Arkansas for alleged stabbing at grocery store

A Nashville woman was arrested in Conway, Arkansas after she allegedly stabbed another woman in the parking lot of a grocery store.  

According to Conway police, 39-year-old LaTonya Kellem, a Nashville resident, confronted a woman in the parking lot of a 10 Box Grocery Store to confront the victim over a man.  

Police said Kellem had a hammer in her hand when she approached the victim. A fight ensued and it ended with the victim being stabbed several times. 

Detectives said the victim is expected to recover.  

Kellem faces a felony charge of second-degree battery for the stabbing and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree battery for causing injuries to a man who tried to break up the fight.
