NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Nashville woman was arrested Friday night and charged with sex trafficking for allegedly forcing a woman to engage in prostitution repeatedly.
Fenshan Quan, 55, was booked into the Metro jail in lieu of $55,000 bond.
Her arrest comes after detectives received an anonymous tip that a prostitution organization was being run out of an apartment at 2258 Lebanon Pike.
Friday night, an undercover Metro police officer responded to an internet ad for an erotic massage. Upon arrival, Quan reportedly motioned for another woman of Asian descent to join the officer.
She agreed to perform a sex act for $100, after which detectives moved in to arrest the two women.
During questioning, authorities said the victim, a 52-year-old, was visibly shaken and appeared to fear Quan.
She reported Quan arranged for her to be flown in from New York earlier in the week and that she was directed to perform sex acts on multiple men over the past few days.
The victim further told authorities Quan would keep $80 from each transaction and give her $20.
Police reported the victim also said she hadn’t eaten in two days and didn’t know how to escape.
Representatives from an agency that provides services to victims of sex trafficking were called. They are providing lodging and food resources to the 52-year-old victim.
