Nashville man charged with shooting 2 boys with pellet gun

Metro police arrested a man they say shot two boys with a pellet gun.

Eusebio Garcia is charged with child abuse.

According to his arrest affidavit, Garcia’s girlfriend was entrusted to watch the two boys while their grandmother was in jail last November. Garcia owns a tire shop and police say the boys spent a lot of time there with him.

Garcia and his son, who has not been charged, are accused of shooting the children with pellet guns in their faces and bodies. The arrest affidavit says they boys had “several abrasions” because of this.

Once their grandmother was released from jail, police say she found out what happened and took the boys to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

It’s unclear how badly the boys were hurt and how many times this reported abuse happened.
