Nashville rent prices are picking back up!
According to Zillow, national rents rose at their fastest pace in almost a year this February, adding more than $400 in yearly expenses for the typical renter over this time last year.
In Nashville, rent prices rose on an annual basis for the third straight month. However, this recent uptick comes on the heels of five consecutive months of decline, from July to November.
Median rent has grown 1.8-percent from this time last year to $1,515. This rise will add, on average, an additional $324 in yearly expenses for Nashvillians.
There are 4,026 homes available for rent in Nashville right now-. Most of them are in the downtown loop area and East Nashville.
If you’re ‘buying or selling, the median home value is $255,700, which is a 7.7-percent rise from last February. There are also 1,673 more homes up for sale than there were this time last year.
