MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – A foster parent in Murfreesboro was arrested last week and accused of raping a 10-year-old.

According to a police report, an investigation found Irvin Dewberry was acting the girl’s foster parent when he molested her.

The 45-year-old has since been indicted by the Rutherford County Grand Jury on two counts of rape of a child and two counts of aggravated sexual battery.

Dewberry was taken into custody on Oct. 5. His bond was set at $200,000 and he is due in court on Oct. 24.
