Metro police investigating shooting in North Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating a shooting at a North Nashville apartment complex.

Officers responded to the call just after 9 p.m. in the 2500 block of 25th Avenue North at Cumberland View Public Housing.

Police said a 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg, and a 24-year-old man was shot in the stomach.

Investigators said both victims are expected to survive their injuries.

According to police, both shootings may be related but the specific circumstances surrounding the shootings remain under investigation.
