NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man has been arrested and charged with murder after a deadly shooting outside an auto shop in East Nashville.
Police say at around 9:20 a.m. Saturday, 51-year-old Brian Shannon came to the shop, owned by 58-year-old Brentnol James and located in the 200 block of E. Trinity Lane. James and Shannon had a lingering dispute that had been going on for years.
When Shannon came to the shop, James met him outside and began hitting him before firing shots, Shannon was not armed and killed in the shooting.
James was arrested and is currently being held without bond, pending a hearing.
