NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating a deadly shooting at a gas station.
It happened Sunday morning around 1:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Clarksville Pike at the EZ Mart gas station.
Police say 21-year-old Donpatric Buford was killed. When officers arrived they located Buford with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he died.
Prior to the shooting, Buford had gotten out of the passenger side of a four-door sedan and began talking to the driver/suspect of another vehicle in the parking lot.
Police say they spoke for a few minutes before the suspect started shooting Buford and drove off. The driver of the car Buford was a passenger of left the scene before police arrived.
