Metro Animal Control hopes to clear shelter ahead of holidays

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro Animal Care and Control is hosting an adoption event in the hopes every animal will have a “home” for the holidays.

The goal of Operation Silent Night is to clear the shelter, either through adoptions or temporary fosters.

They currently have 68 dogs and 25 cats looking for forever homes.

Adoption fees have lowered to $25.

Metro Animal Care and Control is located at 5125 Harding Place. It is open for adoption Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit www.macc.nashville.org.
