Man wanted for attempted first degree murder after stabbing in Greenbrier


A 39-year-old man is wanted for attempted first degree murder after a stabbing at a home in Greenbrier Sunday.  

When deputies responded to the Logan Road home, they found the victim with a stab wound to the neck and other serious injuries.  

The victim was taken to a Nashville hospital and has since undergone emergency surgery. She was last listed in stable condition.  

Jeffery Stewart, the alleged suspect, is now wanted for attempted first degree murder, especially aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.  

He was last seen driving a light green 2005 Ford Focus station wagon with license plate number V52-67L.  

Deputies said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
