NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was injured when he was shot outside a south Nashville nightclub early Sunday morning.

Metro police told News 2 the 27-year-old victim had just been kicked out of Reign Night Club and Sports Bar, located in the Priest Lake Plaza shopping center, near the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and Bell Road.

The man reportedly told police that after he left the club he realized the tires of his SUV had been slashed.

He was sitting in the driver’s seat of his car outside the club when four men in a white sedan drove up and opened fire around 3:30 a.m, according to police.

The victim was struck in the arm and later transported to TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

A Metro police officer on the scene said the victim was not being cooperative with officers.

No additional information was released.In April 2015, a man was injured when two shots were fired inside the venue.
