FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – An investigation is continuing after a 37-year-old man was found shot to death in a Franklin driveway early Wednesday morning.
Police responded to the home in the 200 block of Chestnut Lane just after 2 a.m. after receiving a call that someone had been shot.
Upon arrival, police found the victim, identified as Devillas Dodson, lying outside on the driveway and began CPR. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police told News 2 Dodson did not live at the home but was familiar with the residents.
Detectives are now questioning residents of the Chestnut Lane home where Dodson died.
Anyone in the area with home surveillance cameras is urged to check their recordings for anything that could help with the investigation.
A suspect has not yet been identified and a weapon has not been recovered.
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to Dodson’s killer. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000.
