NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was arrested Saturday for allegedly shooting an acquaintance from high school in south Nashville.
It happened on Claiborne Street around 1 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police reported Brandon Freeman, 25, walked up to the victim, placed a handgun to his temple and said he was going to kill him.
Freeman then reportedly lowered the gun and allowed the victim to leave.
According to an affidavit, Freeman fired two shots at the victim as he was walking away, striking him in both legs.
The victim was able to identify Freeman to police because they attended high school together.
Freeman was booked into the Metro jail and charged with aggravated assault. His bond was set at $75,000.
